About

I help organizations get AI right by getting the people part right first.

CEO of Trust Insights. Speaker. Framework builder. Equal parts ranty pants and respected expert.

Here’s the thing about AI strategy.

Everyone wants to talk about the technology. The models, the platforms, the tools. And sure, that stuff matters. But it’s not where most organizations get stuck.

They get stuck on the people. On change management. On figuring out who does what, and whether the process even makes sense before you automate it. That’s where I come in.

I’m Katie Robbert, CEO and co-founder of Trust Insights, a data analytics and AI consulting firm. I’ve spent 20+ years leading digital transformation initiatives — first in pharmaceutical research, then in marketing technology, and now in AI strategy. Along the way, I’ve built multi-million dollar lines of business, led teams of software engineers, and published research in the Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety Journal.

But if you ask me what I’m actually good at? I make complex things workable for real humans. I build frameworks that give people a starting point when they’re overwhelmed. And I’m not even humble about it.

I’m a nerd about process. These are the tools I use to make strategy actionable.

5P Framework

Purpose, People, Process, Platform, Performance. The foundation for every strategic decision. Before you pick a tool, before you write a plan — start here.

RAFT Framework

Respect, Accountability, Fairness, Transparency. Ethical guardrails for responsible AI adoption. Because “move fast and break things” doesn’t work when people’s jobs are on the line.

TRIPS Scoring

Time, Repetition, Importance, Pain, Sufficient Data. A prioritization system for AI use cases. Not everything needs AI — this helps you figure out what actually does.

I didn’t start in marketing. I started in “no mistakes allowed” data.

Before Trust Insights, I led teams building research software in the pharmaceutical industry — the kind of work where getting it wrong has real consequences. I managed Microsoft Partner Software Engineers developing tools designed to address and mitigate pharmaceutical abuse. That experience shaped everything about how I approach AI and data strategy today: with rigor, with governance, and with an obsession for getting the process right before you scale it.

I hold a Master of Science in Marketing and Technological Innovation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I’m a Google Analytics Certified Professional, Google AdWords Certified Professional, and Google Digital Sales Certified Professional. I’ve been recognized as a Women in AI Leadership Rising Star finalist, and I’m an active member and advocate of Women In Analytics.

But credentials only tell you so much. What I’m most proud of is building a company where strategy actually means something — where we don’t just hand clients a dashboard and walk away, but teach them how to think about their data so they can do it themselves.
